I luve'd English Rose clothes! My closet is
full of them. My #1 choice in great clothes. Such a loss to
Woodstock Square - don't know how it could ever be replaced. Very
sad. One of my fondest memories was dinner at Harvest Moon (also
sadly gone) and a walk afterwards on the Square with my favorite guy
who then bought me a wonderful dress (size 6-also a triumph) at
English Rose!

At my age and with my body "type", it is difficult to find
clothes with that wonderful combination of sophistication and "fun" that you
consistently presented. I always feel well dressed but not "frumpy" when wearing
clothes from your store.
I have shopped at your stores through the years for all of my special occasions,
including my wedding. You've always come thru for me with just the right
outfit. Thank you so much for all of the good years here in McHenry County,
were a great asset to our community.
Hopefully someday I'll get to your new store in Florida.

It was most
disappointing to have received your notice of closing English
Rose. A new friend was looking forward to my introducing her to
your
boutique. Unfortunately the weather, other physical problems and
your
notice prevented our getting into Woodstock and to you. I just now
read
your latest email to her.
I shall miss your not being on the square now. Perhaps I and
numerous
others will be ordering from you long distance.
In any case I do wish the best of health for you and your husband.
That my
best to you with your new boutique goes without saying.

It
was a pleasure to work with you during one of our Fashion
Shows in Sun City, Huntley. There were so many
wonderful outfits to choose from and you were such a great
help. I had so much fun and I hope you will be
involved in fashion shows with your new boutique in Florida.
I wish you all the best and I hope to visit you some day in
the new shop.

I am so happy to hear from you--I am that lady from
Michigan that comes
in 4 times a year. Woodstock will not be the same for me
with you gone.
